Sister Helen (Mary Ethel) Kiefer, ASC, of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, Benedictine Living Center, Belleville, Illinois, died peacefully July 12, 2022. She was 90 years old and was professed for 73 years.
We are the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, a vowed religious community of Roman Catholic women who were founded in 1834 as a teaching order by the Italian, St. Maria De Mattias, in the small town of Acuto, Italy. Worldwide, we are nearly 1,000 women strong, including 140 in the U.S.

The Precious Blood Spirituality Institute (PBSI) has announced the hiring of its first executive director, Vicky Otto.
On Monday, March 14, 2022, over 250 Parishioners and community members from various Christian denominations gathered at Holy Trinity Church in Columbia, PA for a prayer vigil for the people of Ukraine. A number of Ukrainians were also present from the different areas of the Diocese of Harrisburg. The Ukraine Bishop from Jenkintown, PA was there with several of his priests. We were happy to welcome the Auxiliary Bishop for the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia.

Sister Cleta Marie Reineberg, ASC, of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ, died peacefully at 6:50 a.m., EST, on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at St. Anne’s Retirement Community in Columbia, PA. She was 96 years old and had been professed for 76 years.
Sister Carmelita Blick, ASC entered into eternal life, on January 27, 2022, at 8: 55 a.m. in Caritas Center, in Wichita, Kansas. She was 100 years old and a professed Adorer of the Blood of Christ for 83 years.
