Come share life with us

Our ASC Family consists of men and women who connect with us and our spirituality. Whether you feel called to vowed religious life, we have a place for you. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to join us.

We know “ASC” may be confusing, so let us explain. The Adorers were founded in Italy in 1834 and the Italian translation of our order is Adoratrici del Sangue di Cristo or ASC for short. We continue to use the abbreviation in the United States and across the world.

Come share life with us

Our ASC Family are men and women who connect with us and our spirituality. Whether you feel called to vowed religious life or not, we have a place for you. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to join us.

Our ASC Family

If you feel called to work for peace and reconciliation, you are already living our spirituality. You can deepen your faith and find community by joining our ASC Family. Come share prayer, conversation, and ministry with us.

Sisters

We are a community of women together in prayer, ministry, and mission.

As a vowed member of the Adorers, you will live, work, and share a common spirituality with us as you take part in the joys of daily life in community.

My life as an Adorer of the Blood of Christ gives direction for my heart and soul. I join with other phenomenal women seeking to be a compassionate presence in each daily event, as well as the more global needs. My sisters help me be the best version of myself in the hard times and in those wonder-filled happy times.”

S. Maria H., ASC

Sojourners

Sojourners are lay women committed to our mission and values but are not vowed members of our community.

They live out the Precious Blood Spirituality, make promises that mirror our vows, and share our Gospel values.

Whether married or single, these women live lives of holiness through prayer, community, and acts of service. They meet regionally on occasion as a larger community for prayer and to be with one another.

“I became a Sojourner because I wanted to deepen my spiritual life. Being a Sojourner has changed me; it has made me become more community minded and more considerate of others’ needs. I have become more involved in a type of camaraderie that I was not experiencing before.”

Juanita M., Sojourner

Associates

Associates are men and women inspired by our spirituality who feel called to mercy, compassion, and justice.

Associates meet locally for study, prayer, and retreats. They stay connected through local study and prayer groups, as well as retreats and social gatherings.

“After my retirement and my daughter’s moving out on her own, I started to focus on the next phase of my life. I became an Associate. The trip to Liberia in 2017 and witnessing first-hand the seeds that the sisters planted impacted me greatly. In retrospect, I think the seeds planted by the sisters in Liberia inspired me to plant my own seeds here at home.

Donna L., Associate

Mission Associates

Mission Associates are single and married young adults (ages 20-40) connected to our mission and exploring their spirituality in their own sacred space.

If you feel disconnected to your faith and want a space to share thoughts, feelings, and questions with like-minded men and women your age, we would love to get to know you.

Junior Associates

Junior Associates are our youngest members of the ASC Family (ages 10-20) who are learning about our mission and values and who have a heart for others.

They stay connected through a newsletter, pen-and-prayer pals, and occasional visits to our centers for shared joy and service. We invite them and other associates and sisters to our virtual social gatherings.
