Sister Barbara Jean Franklin, ASC
Sister Barbara Jean Franklin was a teacher or principal for nearly 20 years in Illinois and Missouri before helping to lead the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois’ Office of Education for 3 1/2 years. She then went on to serve her community as treasurer of the former Ruma and Columbia provinces, as a provincial councilor and later, as U.S. Regional Leader. Currently, she is administrator and Community Life Team member of the Ruma Center, and co-director of the Vocations Ministry. She is also an author and speaker.
