Sister Florentia Riebel, ASC

Sister Florentia Riebel, ASC, died the morning of December 1, 2022, at 7:40 a.m. after a brief illness.  She was 106 years old and lived 88 of her years as a professed Adorer of the Blood of Christ.

Sister Leona Luechtefeld, ASC

Sister Leona (Mary Ambrose) Luechtefeld celebrated 80 years as a vowed member of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ (ASC) on October 7, 2022. Sr. Leona made her first profession on July 1, 1942 and her final vows on July 1, 1947.

The ASC Family is a community of Adorers of the Blood of Christ Religious Sisters and those inspired by our values and spirituality. The Adorers were founded by St. Maria de Mattias in Italy and came to the United States in 1870. Today, we work for justice, peace, and love for our dear neighbor all over the world.
