On August 4, Books for All hosted an open house at the former Ruma Motherhouse, now known as the Ruma Retreat Center, allowing the community and sisters to come see what has been happening since the sale of the property. They had a wonderful turnout, everyone met lots of volunteers who have been working hard to get things rolling, and they were excited to share their vision with everyone.
The ASC Family is a community of Adorers of the Blood of Christ Religious Sisters and those inspired by our values and spirituality. The Adorers were founded by St. Maria de Mattias in Italy and came to the United States in 1870. Today, we work for justice, peace, and love for our dear neighbor all over the world.
