Sister Sophia Kammer, ASC has been a vowed member of the Adorers for more than 70 years. The Topeka, Kansas, native taught elementary school, mostly in Kansas, for nearly 25 years. She also was registrar at Newman University, volunteered at the Newman alumni office, and was business office manager for the Adorers. For the last 10 years, she has worked in the Adorers’ Associates program.

The Adorers were founded by St. Maria de Mattias in Italy and came to the United States in 1870. Today, we work for justice, peace, and love for our dear neighbor all over the world.
