Adorers of the Blood of Christ

On New Year’s Eve, after visiting the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, historic symbols of liberty, freedom, and inspirations of hope for our democracy, Sisters Rose McKeown and Dani Brought ended the year representing the Adorers, joining with members of the New Sanctuary Movement and Handmaids of the Sacred Heart in front of the Philadelphia ICE office for the weekly interfaith prayer vigil to end injustices against immigrants and express welcome for all .

The prayer concluded with rocking the infant Jesus in a typical blanket and hands extended in prayer towards the office. A blessed way of encountering to end 2025 and step into the new space of 2026 filled with hope.
