Sister Francine Schuster, ASC is a nurse and a certified nurse midwife who both practiced and taught nurse midwifery and established programs to educate more nurse midwives. She brought great passion and love to her ministry of working with moms and their newborns.

We have had many nurses in our ranks, but perhaps only one nurse midwife: Sister Francine Schuster, ASC.
The ASC Family is a community of Adorers of the Blood of Christ Religious Sisters and those inspired by our values and spirituality. The Adorers were founded by St. Maria de Mattias in Italy and came to the United States in 1870. Today, we work for justice, peace, and love for our dear neighbor all over the world.
