Sister Anne Irose, ASC, from Chester, Illinois, spent most of her many years of ministry in pastoral work with Spanish-speaking people, first in Puerto Rico, later in Bolivia, and in southern Illinois. She has advanced degrees in theology and music education.

A Garden of Plenty at Benedictine Living Community
Our first meeting of the Garden Group at Benedictine living showed more reluctance than concrete action. Marian, the only gardener for the nine raised garden beds, was resigning at the age of 96. Our three ASC’s, M. Alan Wurth, Frances Newton, and myself, were eager to start but had many questions about this new opportunity.
BLC at the Shrine: OUR NEW HOME
Benedictine Living Community at the Shrine in Belleville, Illinois, is the name of the new Home for 37 of us Adorers. This large complex includes three health facilities, all accessible and connected by walking.
