The legacies of St. Gaspar del Bufalo and Venerable Serafina Cinque were remembered and celebrated with a meaningful prayer service created by Janet Sue Smith.
On Sunday, October 20 we were proud and happy to accompany Sr. Mary Shaw on her 40th anniversary as an ASC.
In the same afternoon festivities began for Sr. Hedwig Neff, celebrating her 90th birthday and Sr. Carolyn Schilling, celebrating her 80th. Both royalty (St. Hedwig, Queen) and farm backgrounds were honored with prizes and puns with Sr. Bernice Klosterman as the efficient emcee.
On the following days, with Eucharist and prayer, our Martyrs of Charity of Liberia and our Martyrs of Faith of Zagreb called us to deeper lives of hope and compassion. We strive to be the future of their dreams as the Spirit beckons us forward.
