A New Cancer and Turning 65

Seeing the Good in Change

I have been writing this blog for a year now, and I sometimes wonder where the time has gone. Time flies when you’re having fun, and even when you’re not. The past year certainly has been more pleasant than not.

Out here in the farmland where I live, the corn is high and the ears are showing themselves. Driving down a country road the other day, I saw a doe and fawn that delighted my senses.

This is growing time in nature. Everything is about the process of taking the new life of spring and making it grow to maturity.

The Rains of Grace

Today, a bright blue Indigo Bunting, with its melodic bird sound, has visited me at the feeder. This is most unusual and special. Normally, one only can catch a glimpse of this beautiful bird along a drive down a country road.

On a recent visit to my oncologist, Dr. Tan was so excited that my last CT scan and MRI indicated no growth in the tumor. He will re-test me at the end of August.

Have you ever seen a shredding truck?

It has big shredding machines and will go to a bank or business and shred its documents.  Why do I bring this up?
