I had a couple of rough days after my last round of chemotherapy earlier this month.

If I start the week with chemo, I am fine until about Friday,

On Monday, I received news from my oncologist, Dr. Tan, which has sent me reeling. I have needed the past couple days to process it and get my act together in order to write about it.

Sometimes on the journey with cancer, life throws you a curve from an unexpected place.

In late November, I had an MRI and CT scan and have learned from my doctor that all was stable.

It’s been a while since my last blog because I’ve been preparing reflections for a day of prayer at King’s House Retreat Center in Belleville, Ill.

The talks center on living through the darkness into the light and I suppose that my own experience of cancer has been helpful as I prepare my presentations.

No Time to Say Good-bye

Our family recently said good-bye to my great nephew, Jason, who died unexpectedly at age 32.
