Bolivia Ministries 2008

ASCs from the United States, Italy and Spain share responsibility for the founding and growth of the Adorers’ presence to the people of Bolivia. On these pages are new photographs of some of the ministries there.

House of Light and Hope residents House of Light and Hope is a home for a limited number of people with disabilities. Sister Janet Wilhelm is national coordinator for the Fraternity of Persons with Disabilities or the Bolivian Catholic Church.

Hogar de Ninas
Hogar de Ninas is a home sponsored by the Adorers for some 70 girls ages 6-18 who either were abandoned by their families or are victims of sexual abuse.

St. Maria De Mattias Library Many schools in Bolivia do not furnish textbooks, so children in Rio Seco can go to the St. Maria De Mattias Library (behind the red door) to study from the collection there. The building also houses the Adorers who minister in Rio Seco.

Salud Integral Salud Integral in La Paz is a multi-services center for holistic health – body, mind and spirit – staffed by 20 professionals from herbalists to psychologists to a physician.
